We are in the final days of Reverend Mother's role as senior pastor. What are some of your fondest memories of our beloved Pastor Sarah?

What a great article on CNN about our beloved neighbors at Temple Emanu-El! They were also our hosts during our formative years, and are indebted to their hospitality. To graciously accommodate us, our Worship had to be at 9am, with Sunday School at 10:30am. As a remembrance of our history and their hospitality, we still meet with this schedule today. It is so great to see our local congregations reaching out to each other in love and support. Would BCOC be as it is today without the initial support of our neighbors?

March is Women's History Month. Besides our own "Reverend Mother", who are some women who have made or are making history in your lives?

Join us on March 6 for our Ash Wednesday service at 6:30 p.m. in the sanctuary. Dinner and announcements begin in the fellowship hall at 5:30 p.m. Children's activities are happening as normal.

Ash Wednesday is this Wednesday, March 6th. We will have mobile stations across the UAB area for anyone wishing to receive. It doesn't matter what your religion or beliefs, if you wish to receive ALL* are welcome. *we really mean ALL Please share with anyone in the UAB area.

Praying for our neighbors at Highlands United Methodist Church and other UMC churches in our community struggling with the result of the One Church vote.

Due to the Mercedes Marathon on Feb 10th, your normal route to BCOC may experience heavier traffic or blocked roadways due to the race. A sure bet for travel will be US280/31 and exiting off at Univ Blvd or 3rd/4th Ave exits. These will drop you off in the interior of the race loop.
